A Eurofighter had to land at Stuttgart airport in the morning, as the Air Force confirmed on X, formerly Twitter.

A Eurofighter from Neuburg in Bavaria had to "abort its training flight due to electronic problems and land at the civilian airport in Stuttgart."

Nobody was harmed.

“Bild” and “Stuttgarter Zeitung” had previously reported on the incident.

Accordingly, a large contingent of police and fire departments accompanied the landing.

The pilot noticed the problems in the air.

The “Stuttgarter Zeitung” further reported that it was not an emergency landing, but rather a so-called safety landing.

The sound of sirens could be heard in an adjacent district of Stuttgart.

According to the "Bild" report, another Eurofighter, which had accompanied the fighter jet on the training flight, flew alone back to the base in Neuburg an der Donau in Upper Bavaria.

The air base there is one of four Air Force Eurofighter locations.

The landing of the Eurofighter had no major impact on operations at Stuttgart Airport, a spokesman said.

The air force said the fighter aircraft is now undergoing technical checks.
