The head of state said this during a meeting with participants of the World Youth Festival (WYF).

“Shelling of civilian targets, attacks by multiple launch rocket systems on squares and civilians is, of course, a war crime,” the Russian leader emphasized.

Putin added that Russia will not leave alone those who are responsible for these crimes. 

On the afternoon of February 15, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked Belgorod.

19 people were recognized as injured, seven more people died, including a child.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, demanded to establish the identities of all persons involved in the terrorist attack.
