Peskov expressed this opinion in a conversation with journalist Pavel Zarubin.
Peskov called Nuland a talented diplomat, adding that it would be better if she showed her talents in a peaceful and constructive field.
“She played a big role in destabilizing the situation in Ukraine in 2014, she played a big role in provoking and executing coups d’etat in Ukraine,” he concluded.
Earlier, Nuland notified US Secretary of State Antony Blinken of her decision to leave her post in the coming weeks.
