Gastronomy Karlos Arguiñano and his seven unknown children: this is how they are and this is how they live between stoves, movies and motorcycles
Health Karlos Arguiñano, worried about his wife: "He doesn't leave the house because he's sad"
They say that people are conquered by their stomach, and
Joseba Arguiñano
(39) could not agree more with this statement because
that is how she seduced her partner, Natali Fuentes,
when she prepared some
stuffed eggplants
for her .
With her he has
two children,
Manex (10) and Kaia (6), with whom he lives in
Zarauz
, a town that he considers a paradise on earth.
If they had to win him over, it would have to be with
a good custard,
rice pudding or a superb hazelnut cake.

The sea gives him life.
He has loved the Cantabrian Sea
since childhood,
so when he enjoys the little free time that the
stove
leaves him , he takes the
surfboard
to melt into the waves.
She also has a
little boat
in Getaria with which
she has gone fishing
for many years.
It is a hobby that he is passionate about, since he chooses the best species,
cleans them, prepares them at home and enjoys them
with his loved ones.
In the past
he played soccer
and traveled the streets with a scooter, but he ended up
hurting
his ankles and knees so many times that he ended up quitting.
What few knew is that
when he was little he wanted to be a driver
because he loved karts, but in the end he gave up the kitchen.

Karlos Arguiñano, rich rich man: from bordering on ruin to having a personal asset of three million
Joseba
is the youngest of
the five boys
of Karlos Arguiñano (75) and Luisi Ameztoy (74), who married in 1974. These are Eneko, Zigor, Karlos and Martin.
Then there are
two women,
Amaia and María.
Currently, Joseba and his father
share the screen
on
Cocina Abierto
(Antena 3) where, after the veteran chef shows the dishes of the day,
his son prepares a recipe.
Karlos watches him with
devotion
.
And is not for less.

To get to where he is he has
trained in renowned establishments
such as the AIALA hospitality school in Karlos, the Akelarre restaurant in Pedro Subijana, the Escribà pastry shop in Barcelona and the Thierry Bambas French pastry school.
Such background has helped him
present several culinary programs
on the Basque regional channel ETB and two years ago he published
his first book,
Cocina con Joseba Arguiñano.

Although no dish can resist her, Joseba has preferred
to follow in the footsteps of her aunt Eva
to opt for
pastries
.
For a decade she has had
her own
De ella bakery (JA Arguiñano) where her chocolates are the best-known sweets in this Basque town.
Her children have a great time savoring all the sweets and, above all, they have fun
cooking with their father.
The three of them usually get together to prepare homemade dishes and, for this, Joseba has bought them
specific cutlery for children.
Grandpa
Karlos
is delighted that the third generation is starting to like cooking.
He is always there to see that
the emporium he formed decades ago
continues from strength to strength because you should never let your guard down.
Joseba is grateful to his family.
He is aware that
having the last name Arguiñano
has opened the doors for him to work in various bakeries and that the path has been easy, but he has also had to work for it because in the competitive field of cooking,
no one gives anything away.

As could not be less, Karlos has always been there in the best and worst moments to
advise you
.
The Arguiñanos are
a very close-knit family,
although they also argue and work to resolve those arguments.
In an interview with
Lecturas
he commented on a curious trait: "I have brothers with blue and blonde eyes, like my mother. I, however,
look more like the aita, like the older brother."
Almost all of them have played
Basque pelota at some point,
but in recent times they have opted for
golf
because of the tranquility and concentration it provides.
However, Karlos continues to resist.
Joseba has
the same sense of humor
as his father, as he has demonstrated on more than one occasion.
For example, a button: "I'm more sweet, but I'm a salao."
