Ivory Coast: new organizational chart at the PDCI in view of the 2025 elections
In Côte d'Ivoire, Tidjane Thiam, the leader of the Democratic Party of Côte d'Ivoire (PDCI), who took the reins of the party at the end of December, following the disappearance of Henri Konan Bédié, presented yesterday, Tuesday March 5, to the press, the new organizational chart of the party.
With one objective in mind: to prepare for the electoral battle of 2025.

, several influential executives appear in this new organization chart, which also gives pride of place to young people.
The mayor of Port-Bouët, Dr Sylvestre Emmou is the new executive secretary of the PDCI.
He replaces Maurice Kakou Guikahué, who has held this position since 2013. Noël Akossi Bendjo inherits the strategic function of General Coordinator of the PDCI.
The former Minister of Industry, Alain Cocauthey, heads Tidjane Thiam's cabinet.
A major change:
Tidjane Thiam
reorganizes the party geographically, so that it is closer to the ground and especially to party activists.
Its goal: to encourage citizens to enlist massively for the 2025 presidential election. “
What we are proposing is a new approach with a stronger emphasis placed on districts and regions.
The (first) objective is to put the party in battle order for the 2025 election;
the second is to have an organizational structure aligned with the administrative and electoral division of the country.
The (final) objective is really to achieve massive enrollment!

In all, 15 senior representatives of the president of the PDCI were appointed to head each district and the diaspora to strengthen the party's presence.
At the same time, a team was appointed to develop the party's social project, which addresses issues such as sustainable development, relations with neighboring countries, and economic development and equity.
