As the public figure noted, on the eve of March 8, the demand for buying flowers in the country increases and, as a rule, often bouquets and arrangements are packaged in plastic film, which is poorly recycled and causes significant damage to the environment.

In his opinion, supporting flower producers and sellers who use environmentally friendly and recyclable packaging materials will make a significant contribution to environmental conservation.

“I ask you to consider introducing additional economic incentives for manufacturers and sellers of biodegradable packaging, films and other related materials in this area,” the appeal says.

According to him, such a measure will help protect the environment and will also reduce the cost of processing complex and hazardous materials.
