The department noted that criminal cases were opened under articles of negligence and violation of industrial safety requirements.
As part of the investigation, a legal assessment will be given to the actions or inactions of officials and regulatory authorities.
“Currently, a group of investigators and forensic investigators from the regional investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia continues to work at the scene,” the message states.
The emergency incident in Tuva became known on the morning of March 6.
It was reported that 23 people were injured as a result of the incident.
After the explosion, a state of emergency was introduced in the republic.
