Israeli artillery continues to bomb the southern areas of Gaza City (Anatolia)

On Tuesday, the Israeli army continued its military operations in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, bombing 4 residential homes in the town of Al-Fokhari, east of the governorate, and Israeli raids continued on several cities throughout the Strip.

Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that a Palestinian woman was martyred and others were injured as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted a house in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip. Four Palestinians were also martyred and others were injured in a bombing that targeted a house in the Al-Masha'la area in Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

The reporter added that Israeli artillery has been bombing the southern areas of Gaza City for hours, and Israeli raids are continuing on several cities in northern Gaza.

He also reported that the bodies of 23 martyrs had been recovered from various areas in the city of Khan Yunis since this morning, while the city of Hamad, west of Khan Yunis, is still suffering from an Israeli siege that prevents entry and exit from it after the occupation forces entered it, and the city and neighboring areas are witnessing violent artillery shelling.

For its part, the occupation army stated that its forces were focusing their operations in Hamad Town based on what it described as intelligence information indicating the presence of a large number of militants there. It claimed that it had arrested dozens of fighters from the Hamas and Islamic Jihad movements there, and raided warehouses and military infrastructure.

This city is witnessing fierce clashes between Palestinian factions and the Israeli army, which arrested dozens of Palestinians, conducted field investigations with them in harsh conditions, tortured and assaulted many of them, and some of them were taken in trucks to detention centers.

Meanwhile, Al Jazeera's camera monitored the large extent of destruction caused by the Israeli occupation forces in the town of Abasan Al Kabira, east of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

The occupation forces destroyed the Algerian Specialized Hospital in the town and put it out of service, in a recurring scene of systematic Israeli targeting - during the current war - of hospitals and health sector institutions.

Ground incursion

The occupation military vehicles continue to fire at citizens and their homes in the northern eastern regions, when they try to reach their homes in that area to check on them.

The occupation army indicated that the Nahal Brigade's combat group continues its activity in the center of the Strip, and is also penetrating the Beit Hanoun area in the northern Gaza Strip.

On Sunday, the Israeli army announced that it had launched a surprise ground attack west of the city of Khan Yunis, which was preceded by intense air strikes.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced - today - that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Strip has risen to 30,631 martyrs and 72,043 injured since the seventh of last October.

The ministry said that the Israeli occupation committed 10 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, claiming 97 martyrs and 123 injuries during the past 24 hours.

She added that on the 151st day of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, a number of victims are still under rubble and on the roads, and the occupation is preventing ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been waging a devastating war on the besieged Gaza Strip, leaving tens of thousands of civilian casualties, most of them children and women, in addition to an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe and massive infrastructure destruction.
