It was also noted at the meeting that the Investigative Committee investigated 7 thousand murders and solved over 5 thousand crimes of organized groups and criminal communities.
“Over 5 thousand crimes of past years have been solved.
1.5 thousand criminal cases on crimes that remained unsolved for more than three years were sent to court,” the report says.
Alexander Bastrykin also identified the main tasks of the committee in 2024.
