According to him, the ministry must say what measures need to be taken regarding fuel for farmers.

“You can rest assured: I will support any decision - and my colleagues from the oil and energy sectors know this - any decision that is designed to ensure spring agricultural work,” TASS quotes him.

At the same time, he emphasized that the decision “must be balanced” and acceptable, including for energy workers.

The Russian leader also drew attention to the fact that decisions “must be made in a timely manner.”

Putin instructed Patrushev to keep this issue under control.

Earlier, Putin said that Russia has become the fourth country in the world in exporting agricultural products, with revenues of $43.5 billion.
