Hill: US intensifies calls for Israel to ceasefire in Gaza Strip

According to the publication, there are currently some disagreements between the United States and Israel, especially on the issue of increasing the volume of humanitarian assistance to the population of the Gaza Strip.

The publication recalled that during her speech in Alabama on March 3, Harris called the situation in Gaza a “humanitarian catastrophe.”

In her opinion, Israel should make more efforts to increase the flow of humanitarian aid. 

Earlier, the Israel Defense Forces reported that dozens of Gazans died during a stampede and under the wheels of trucks that delivered humanitarian aid to the north of the enclave.

Later, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres condemned Israel's attack on the Gaza Strip during the distribution of humanitarian aid there.
