Growing anger in the US Democratic Party over Netanyahu's policy (Reuters)

The Washington Post quoted American officials as saying that the administration of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is approaching a point after which its challenge to its American partners can no longer be tolerated.

The newspaper added that American officials expressed their deep frustration and anger at what they see as a "stubborn and arrogant Israeli government."

This comes at a time when 28 Democratic representatives in the US House of Representatives sent a letter to President Joe Biden supporting a temporary ceasefire between the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and Israel.

Recently, anger has escalated among prominent politicians in Washington, most of them from the Democratic Party, towards the administration of US President Joe Biden and Netanyahu, accusing them of causing a disaster in the Gaza Strip.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, leaving more than 30,000 martyrs, most of them children and women, and more than 70,000 injured, in addition to massive destruction of infrastructure, vital facilities, and hospitals.
