3 Israeli soldiers were killed and 14 others were injured in Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip, while the resistance announced that it confronted the occupation forces penetrating the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood and inflicted heavy losses on it. This came from the occupation firing bullets for the second time at citizens who had gathered to obtain aid in the northern Gaza Strip.

The Israeli occupation army announced that 3 soldiers were killed and 14 wounded, including 5 in serious condition, one of them an officer, by detonating explosive devices in a building in the city of Khan Yunis.

Yesterday, Israeli social media platforms reported that a difficult event had occurred to Israeli occupation army soldiers east of the city of Khan Yunis after the bombing of a building in the soldiers’ building. These platforms indicated that the army does not announce its losses until after the end of the Saturday vacation.

A similar operation took place last January in the Maghari camp and led to the killing of 21 Israeli soldiers, before the occupation army spokesman announced the operation, describing it as the most difficult since the beginning of the ground invasion of the Strip on October 27 of last year.

The occupation army had previously announced in a statement that soldiers of the Commando Brigade continued to fight violent battles west of Khan Yunis, during which they eliminated dozens of militants.

The statement stated that Israeli forces carried out raids on sites according to specific intelligence information.

The army added that the Egoz unit raided a compound that it said belonged to the head of the Hamas movement in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar, where soldiers found Kalashnikov weapons hidden in the building.

The soldiers also raided another compound, where they found a lot of military equipment.

The resistance fights back

For its part, the Al-Qassam Brigades - the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) announced that it had detonated a pre-rigged house with an Israeli foot force of 7 soldiers, leaving one dead and wounded north of the city of Khan Yunis.

The Al-Zaytoun neighborhood witnessed fierce battles between the resistance and the Israeli occupation forces. The Al-Qassam Brigades announced that its fighters had seized a Skylark reconnaissance plane that was on an enemy intelligence mission south of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City.

It added that its fighters blew up two Zionist Merkva tanks with explosive devices southeast of the Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City.

The Brigades said that they detonated a thunderbolt anti-personnel device against a Zionist foot force southeast of the Zaytoun neighborhood.

In addition, two Zionist Merkva tanks were targeted with Al-Yassin 105 shells, southeast of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood.

Al Jazeera obtained new scenes of battles between the Qassam Brigades and the occupation army in the Zaytoun neighborhood, showing tanks being targeted, damaged, and ambushes being set up by Israeli forces.

In a related context, Abu Hamza, spokesman for the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, announced that the resistance had killed all members of a Zionist force in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood a few days ago.

Pointing out that the resistance has carried out many diverse combat missions against the occupation forces over the past days.

For the second time

Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that one person was martyred and 26 others were injured after the occupation forces fired fire and shells at crowds of people waiting for aid, for the second time in three days.

Al Jazeera obtained video clips showing the moment the occupation forces opened fire on Palestinians who were awaiting the arrival of aid.

Last Thursday, the occupation army opened fire on crowds gathered to obtain food aid near Dawar al-Nabulsi, resulting in the death of 118 martyrs.

The occupation was subjected to international criticism for carrying out that massacre, and many international newspapers refuted the occupation’s story and showed the falsehood of the story that what happened was a stampede of crowds.

In a related context, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced the recovery of two martyrs from the Nabulsi roundabout, raising the number of martyrs in the massacre that occurred last Thursday to 118 and the wounded to 760.

Martyrs and raids

In the same context, 11 Palestinians were martyred in an Israeli occupation raid on tents for displaced people near Tal Al-Sultan Maternity Hospital, west of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza said that about 50 others, including children, were injured as a result of the raid that targeted tents and a gathering of displaced citizens next to the hospital gate.

The Ministry indicated that among the martyrs was a paramedic who was working inside the hospital.

Al Jazeera's correspondent also reported that the occupation aircraft launched raids near the Egyptian-Palestinian border opposite the Al-Shaout neighborhood in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
