Sources reported to Al Jazeera that two delegations from the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and Israel will arrive in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, tomorrow, Sunday, to begin a new indirect negotiating round to reach an agreement.

For its part, Reuters quoted two Egyptian security sources - today, Saturday - that ceasefire negotiations in the Gaza Strip are scheduled to resume in Cairo tomorrow, Sunday.

The two sources added - according to Reuters - that the parties agreed on the duration of the truce in Gaza and the release of hostages and detainees, and they explained that completing the deal still requires agreeing on the withdrawal of Israeli forces from northern Gaza and the return of its residents.

The two sources stated - according to the same agency - that the killing of more than 100 Palestinians by Israeli fire last Thursday while they were seeking aid did not slow down the progress of the talks, but it prompted the negotiators to speed up in order to maintain the progress achieved in the negotiations.

Netanyahu to demand an immediate prisoner exchange deal.

War Council member Minister Benny Gantz joined the march in the context of confirming his support for the families’ demands. A number of prisoners’ families also organized a stand in front of the US Embassy in Tel Aviv, and demanded that Washington work to speed up the completion of the exchange deal.
