The day after the funeral of Alexeï Navalny, thousands of Muscovites are still queuing to pay their respects and put flowers on his grave, Saturday March 2.

At the end of the afternoon, the Telegram channels of independent media showed a number of images illustrating the fervor to which the former champion of the fight against corruption had become the object.

The image of an endless queue in front of the florist at the Borisovsky cemetery in Moscow certainly makes its owner happy.

This is what the images broadcast on Telegram of the store, but also of Alexeï Navalny's grave covered with a mountain of flowers, suggest.

All day long, Russians came to pay tribute to

the man whom the crowd described Friday, during his funeral

, as an “

immortal hero

 ”.

The crowds are such that the authorities have marked out the path that leads to his tomb with barriers.

We saw anonymous people there, but also former members of the late opponent's anti-corruption fund, and even personalities, such as Alexeï Venediktov, former head of the emblematic Echo of Moscow radio station.

But the most memorable visit took place in the morning when the mothers of Alexei Navalny and his wife Yulia returned to the grave.

The opponent's

mother-in

-law also gave a moving speech on the love that Alexei and his daughter had for each other, taking the opportunity to thank all those who had come to decorate the grave.
