This is not the first time that clashes have taken place between resistance fighters and PA security. Confrontations took place between the two sides last month in the city of Tubas, located in the northern West Bank.

Resistance fighters took to the streets of the city in preparation for an expected storming of the city by the occupation forces after spotting an Israeli military force in the area. The resistance fighters were surprised to be pursued by members of the Palestinian security forces, which led to the outbreak of clashes between them.
