Al Jazeera broadcast new scenes of battles between the Al-Qassam Brigades - the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) - and the Israeli occupation army in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
The scenes showed that several Israeli tanks were targeted and damaged by anti-armor shells in various areas, some of which were agricultural and others residential, in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, and at a close distance from those vehicles, after the fighters emerged from attack tunnels.
The scenes also included luring an Israeli force into a building that was booby-trapped and then detonating it, causing the invading force to be killed and wounded, as well as detonating bombs on the occupation vehicles, pulling one of them out, and the appearance of a huge cloud of smoke as a result.
The scenes also included Qassam fighters targeting concentrations of occupation vehicles and soldiers with mortar shells, and one of the fighters appeared threatening the invading forces to dismantle them in response to statements by Israeli leaders - including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu - to dismantle the organizational frameworks of the Qassam Brigades.
