Citing data from the National Cancer Center, Liu Linlin pointed out that there will be 4.8247 million new cases of malignant tumors in China in 2022, with the incidence rate among men being higher than among women.

The total number of deaths from malignant tumors was 2.5742 million.

After the age of 40 to 44, the mortality rate of all cancer types increases significantly and reaches a peak at the age of 85 and above.

Liu Linlin said that the reason for the increase in the number of cases is on the one hand the aging of the population, and on the other hand the rapid development of medical technology and the increase in public awareness of cancer prevention, which has led to a corresponding increase in cancer detection rates.

In view of the current development status of malignant tumors, Liu Linlin suggested that medical and prevention should be combined to comprehensively promote the implementation of the "three early" strategies of early detection, early diagnosis, and early treatment. In particular, we should focus on the screening of common high-risk cancer types and formulate strategies for appropriate tumor types. Improve screening guidelines, clarify safe, effective, and economical screening methods, focus on improving early tumor identification capabilities and the practicality of opportunistic screening levels, and increase early tumor screening rates.

In 2022, in order to further improve the standardization level of diagnosis and treatment of tumors and hematology diseases, the General Office of the National Health Commission issued the "Notice on the Diagnosis and Treatment Guidelines for Tumors and Hematology Related Diseases (2022 Edition)", which provides feasible guidance for the standardization of diagnosis and treatment of tumors and hematology diseases. Guidelines.

"However, due to the superimposed influence of multiple factors such as medical staff's diagnosis and treatment experience, medical resources, and patients' own conditions, diagnosis and treatment methods need to be further standardized, and the clinical practice of diagnosis and treatment guidelines for tumor-related diseases needs to be strengthened." Liu Linlin suggested that we should speed up the promotion of tumor-related diseases. Clinical application of diagnostic and treatment guidelines.

Liu Linlin also suggested further promoting the multidisciplinary diagnosis and treatment model (MDT) of cancer.

She said that the MDT model has the advantages of shortening patients' waiting time for diagnosis and treatment, increasing the selectivity of treatment options, and avoiding constant patient referrals and repeated examinations.

However, the number of hospitals currently implementing multidisciplinary diagnosis and treatment models is still limited.

Liu Linlin suggested giving full play to the resource aggregation and integration advantages of large public hospitals, further promoting the MDT model, opening multi-disciplinary cancer outpatient clinics with fixed times, locations, and teams, establishing and improving corresponding diagnosis and treatment systems, and standardizing, regular, and regular discussions on related tumor cases. Convene a multidisciplinary team of experts to work together to formulate the best treatment plan for patients and provide "one-stop" precise, personalized, and homogeneous diagnosis and treatment services.

As tumor-related diseases gradually enter the era of chronic disease management, how to prolong patients' survival time, improve survival rate, control tumor progression and improve patients' quality of life has become a matter of great concern.

In this regard, Liu Linlin suggested that we comprehensively carry out "all-round, full-cycle" health management for cancer patients, covering the full cycle of cancer health management, focusing on prevention and screening, early diagnosis, standardized diagnosis and treatment, rehabilitation and life quality management, etc. In different aspects, we participate in the comprehensive management of cancer patients in an all-round way to better provide patients with high-quality diagnosis and treatment services and effectively improve their quality of life.
