Fierce clashes are taking place in the Gaza Strip between the Palestinian resistance and the Israeli occupation forces, which are trying to penetrate with a number of vehicles and bulldozers into the town of Al-Qarara, north of Khan Yunis, while the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth said that the army is in shock from its losses and is requesting the immediate recruitment of thousands.

The Al-Qassam Brigades - the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) - said that its fighters blew up two tunnel openings and another building that had previously been mined, and targeted an Israeli occupation force, leaving one of its members dead and wounded south of the Zaytoun neighborhood.

For its part, the Al-Quds Brigades - the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement - announced that it, in conjunction with the Al-Amoudi Brigade, bombed gatherings of occupation soldiers in the vicinity of the Erez crossing in northern Gaza with a barrage of mortar shells.

The Al-Quds Brigades broadcast images of the targeting of occupation soldiers and vehicles in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.

The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades - the military wing of the Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fatah) - also said that it bombed with mortar shells a crowd and vehicles of the occupation army in the Al-Taqadum axis, east of the city of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

It added in a statement that its fighters are engaged in fierce clashes with the occupation soldiers and their military vehicles with machine guns and RPG shells in the various front lines of advance in Khan Yunis.

On the other hand, Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that the Israeli army is in shock after the losses it suffered, during which 582 soldiers and officers were lost in Operation Al-Aqsa Flood and the war on Gaza, which has entered its 147th day.

The newspaper added that the General Staff is calling for the immediate recruitment of 7,500 officers and soldiers to strengthen its forces, but the government proposes to recruit only 2,500 due to the weak budget.

Yedioth Ahronoth published a shocking report on the losses of the occupation army in the war on Gaza, in which it said that the number of wounded soldiers reached about 5,000, including at least two thousand who became disabled, but the newspaper soon withdrew its report, and published numbers much smaller than that. .
