The Civil Guard investigates the damage caused to the

car of the widow

David Pérez

, one of the two civil guards murdered in Barbate (Cádiz) after being

run over by a drug boat

, after being attacked in Sarriguen, Egüés valley (Navarra), where he resides the family.

This was indicated to EFE by Benemérita sources who are investigating the attack that occurred

early Wednesday morning in a parking lot

.

At the moment, the causes of the attack

on the vehicle, the

only damaged one of those that were in that parking lot ,

are unknown

, as they have pointed out.

David Pérez

was an agent of the

Rapid Action Group (GAR),

married with two children.

43 years old, he was born in Barcelona although he developed his career in

Navarra

, where he had been stationed for more than a decade - 2011 - and had started a family.

The GAR work in operations against drug trafficking or against terrorism and the base is in

Logroño

(La Rioja), although they also have a presence in the Foral Community.

The agent entered the Baeza Academy in 2008, did his internship as a civil guard at the Torrevieja post and was later assigned as a professional to the Arta post in the Balearic Islands.

He then joined the GAR.

David Pérez was currently on secondment in the province of Cádiz.

The other murdered agent,

Miguel Ángel Gómez

, belonged to the Special Group for Underwater Activities (GEAS).
