“This is direct aggression and a direct threat to Russia’s national security,” Vodolatsky said.

He emphasized that the bridge is a peaceful artery connecting two subjects of Russia, where there are no military personnel, but only civilians going on vacation to Crimea.

“When Bundeswehr officers discuss how they will hit the Crimean Bridge, this is already a signal for us to bring to the attention of the German leadership through various channels... about those unfriendly actions that could be fraught with danger for Germany itself,” the parliamentarian noted.

Earlier, a member of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, Senator from the Republic of Crimea Sergei Tsekov called the discussion of the attack on the Crimean Bridge in Germany cynical.
