The new program schedules reflect a reaffirmed editorial line which continues to mark its singularity in the global audiovisual landscape, through the responsiveness and rigor of its information and through its commitments to the defense of human rights, the fight against disinformation, respect for secularism and its mobilization on environmental issues.

These new grids take into account the specificities of each antenna and their audiences.

Seven new sections of information France 24 structures its grids around 7 large sections of embodied information, which give more space to live with more hot and responsive information, but also major decryption files, without forgetting the news cultural, societal, environmental, sporting…: “In the news”, “Let’s talk about it”, “Paris direct”, “Around the world”, “At the heart of the news”, “The essentials” and “The 360° news".

On France 24, the information never stops, complete newspapers on French and international news are broadcast throughout the day and night to stay informed at any time, anywhere in the world.

Each section of information has its own identity carried by the same faces and presents better identified content, based on events (magazines, columns, etc.) already very established and popular with France 24 viewers. Magazines are valued in large live slots, in the same way as chronicles, which become more visible and allow greater fluidity on the air.

New appointments

New events are enriching the France 24 channels, including in French:

  •  “Le Journal de l’Afrique”, a flagship magazine on current affairs on the African continent, is now broadcast 7 days a week at 9:40 p.m. and 10:40 p.m.

  •  “A week in France” and “A week of reports”, broadcast on Saturdays at 2:15 p.m. and 2:45 p.m.

  • “The world in all its states”, offered in a long format of 26 minutes.

  • With "Sports Saturday", France 24 doubles the score on sports news and now offers on Saturdays at 9:15 p.m. a summary prepared by its columnists, which viewers also continue to find in "Sports Dimanche".

A global offer

The new editorial offering is just as digital, with increased production for sites, applications, social networks and platforms, made possible by the increase in live broadcasts and sequences that can be adapted into digital modules.

Designed to stand out even more strongly from other major international news channels, it reaffirms the public service mission and the French DNA of the channel.
