Farmers from Rural Coordination carried out a surprise action this Friday morning, around the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.
The president of the union, Véronique Le Floc'h, explains in the program "Pascal Praud et vous", every day from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., that it was a question of paying tribute to the deceased farmers.

It is a surprise action in full anger of the farmers.
The Rural Coordination blocked the roundabout around the Arc de Triomphe early this Friday morning, to lay a wreath next to the tomb of the unknown soldier.

that it was about paying tribute to farmers who commit suicide in France.
This action “should never have turned out this way,” she says, in reference to the 66 arrests that took place that morning.
“Laying a wreath of flowers on the tomb of the unknown soldier should have inspired the President of the Republic to come and join us to participate in this tribute,” added Véronique Le Floc’h on Europe 1.
