The severe shortage of food and water makes Gaza's children vulnerable to diseases (Reuters)

Palestinian medical sources reported that the child Ahmed Hijazi was martyred due to malnutrition and starvation in the northern Gaza Strip, as international organizations were unable to deliver aid to the northern Gaza Strip for more than a week.

Yesterday, Thursday, the Ministry of Health announced the death of 13 children due to famine and malnutrition in the northern Gaza Strip.

Palestinian journalist Hassan Aslih, through his Instagram account - this Friday morning - documented the testimony of a Palestinian child talking about their suffering due to the starvation imposed by the occupation in the northern Gaza Strip.

The scenes showed the condition of the child and his family in light of the food and food shortages, saying: “We used to eat all the time, and we used to sleep hungry, and we would (stay) 3 days without eating.”

The displaced Palestinians also live in shelter centers in the northern Gaza Strip, suffering and difficulties that have turned their daily lives into a nightmare that disturbs their livelihood, to the point that they now fear death from starvation more than their fear of being killed by Israeli missiles.

The miserable situation inside the shelter centers goes beyond cruelty, with sewage overflowing in the schoolyard, the accumulation of filth and waste, and the horrific spread of diseases among the displaced, especially children.

The displaced suffer from extremely difficult humanitarian conditions, due to severe food and water shortages, making them vulnerable to diseases and worsening food shortages.

The residents of the northern Gaza Strip resorted to searching for any food that could be eaten, and they reached the point of grinding livestock and poultry feed to eat it, and searching in agricultural lands for the leaves that the land grew to satisfy hunger.

In the south and center of the Gaza Strip, the population faces great difficulty in providing food supplies, as a result of the large shortage of food supplies and the high prices of available items, in light of very poor living and economic conditions.

Blocking aid

On the other hand, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said that international organizations have been unable to deliver aid to the northern Gaza Strip for more than a week.

Guterres added in a tweet on the X website that desperate civilians in Gaza need urgent assistance, including residents of the northern Strip.

For her part, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said that Israel must immediately allow humanitarian aid to enter the Palestinian Gaza Strip safely and without obstacles.

Birbock indicated that the International Court of Justice also asked Israel to allow humanitarian aid to enter Gaza without obstacles.

On the other hand, Palestinian journalist Hatem Hani published - today, Friday - a video clip showing Palestinian women receiving displaced persons coming from the north of the Gaza Strip to its south.

The video documented the wandering of 3 women carrying bread and offering it to displaced Palestinians who fled as a result of famine and the continued Israeli aggression in the northern Gaza Strip.

For the 148th day, the occupation army continues its aggression against the Gaza Strip, causing the death and injury of tens of thousands, most of them children and women, and an unprecedented humanitarian and health crisis.

The last crime of the bloody aggression against the Gaza Strip was the occupation army committing a new massacre called the Flour Massacre, where it bombed unarmed civilians who were waiting to receive aid in the northern Gaza Strip, causing the death of more than 112 people and the injury of about 700.
