“The Russian side hopes that the impetus given in Moscow for the process of inter-Palestinian reconciliation will receive further development, and is ready to continue to contribute to efforts to promote a comprehensive settlement,” the department said in a statement.
The Palestinian factions that arrived in Moscow expressed gratitude to Russia for its position in support of the Palestinian problem.
Earlier, the Israel Defense Forces reported that dozens of Gazans died during the stampede and under the wheels of trucks that delivered humanitarian aid to the north of the enclave.
