Demonstrations in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, in support of Gaza (Al Jazeera)

Demonstrations took place in Jordan, Iraq, and Yemen in solidarity with the Palestinians, and to demand an end to the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip.

In Jordan, a popular march was organized towards the Sheikh Hussein crossing in the northern Jordan Valley region of Irbid Governorate to demand a continuous relief land bridge to Gaza.

Al Jazeera's correspondent said that the Jordanian authorities are preventing access to the border areas, as demonstrators are trying to reach the Sheikh Hussein Bridge, which separates Jordanian territory from Israel.

The reporter explained that the demonstrators are demanding a halt to exports from Jordan to Israel.

Hundreds also demonstrated in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, to express their support for the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, and to demand an end to the Israeli war on the Strip.

Today, a demonstration took place in the city of Saada in northern Yemen in solidarity with the Palestinian people and in protest against the attacks they are being subjected to by the occupation.

The participants stressed that the Yemeni people continue to stand by the Palestinian people, and to support and assist the military operations carried out by the Houthis against ships crossing the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab and heading towards Israel.

The demonstrators praised the role of the Palestinian resistance in Gaza, and denounced the state of Arab and Islamic failure towards Palestine. They also demanded the opening of safe corridors to reach Palestine and participate in its defense. A pro-Palestinian demonstration also took place in the city of Al-Mahra, eastern Yemen.

Since last October 7, Israel has been waging a war on the Gaza Strip that has left tens of thousands of civilians martyred and wounded, most of them children and women, in addition to an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe and massive destruction of infrastructure, which led to Tel Aviv being brought before the International Court of Justice. Charged with "genocide".
