Official and civil Palestinian sources confirm that Israel has been practicing isolation, starvation, and medical neglect against Palestinian prisoners in its prisons as part of unprecedented retaliatory and punitive measures since October 7, 2023.

With the start of the devastating war on the Gaza Strip, Israel escalated its operations in the West Bank, leaving hundreds dead and thousands wounded, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, in addition to about 7,120 detainees, according to the Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners’ Authority and the Prisoners’ Club.

Since last October 7, Israel has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip that has left tens of thousands of civilian martyrs, most of them children and women, in addition to an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe and massive destruction of infrastructure, which led to Tel Aviv appearing before the International Court of Justice on charges of genocide. .
