Hospitals in northern Gaza are trying to treat those injured in the massacre with limited capabilities (Anatolia)

On Thursday, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) called on the Arab League and the UN Security Council to convene urgently to take decisions obligating Israel to stop mass killing and ethnic cleansing in Gaza, after the massacre committed by the occupation on Al-Rashid Street in the northern Gaza Strip.

The movement held Israel and US President Joe Biden fully responsible for the Al-Rashid Street massacre, and for the escalation of the war of genocide and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people.

The movement appealed to the Arab countries to break what it called the “box of silence” regarding the genocide against the Palestinian people, and to immediately implement the decision of the Arab-Islamic summit last November 11, which emphasized breaking the siege and immediately bringing food and medical aid into the Gaza Strip.

The movement called on the Arab and Islamic peoples and those it called “the free people of the world” to hold widespread popular activities and demonstrations denouncing the Israeli massacre against the Palestinians, and to put pressure on governments to take effective and strong positions against Israel.

It called on the international community and the United Nations to assume their responsibilities and legal duties in stopping this mass killing of Palestinians.

It also called on them to take all necessary measures to safely deliver emergency food aid to Palestinians throughout the Strip.

Today, the occupation targeted a group of Palestinians who were waiting for humanitarian aid in northern Gaza, resulting in the death of more than 104 Palestinians and the injury of more than 700 others, including serious and critical injuries, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health.

The Ministry confirmed that the wounded from the massacre arrived at all hospitals in northern Gaza, which had been declared out of service, stressing that the hospitals were treating serious injuries with limited capabilities.

As a result of Israeli restrictions, the residents of Gaza, especially in the Gaza and northern governorates, are on the verge of famine, in light of a severe scarcity of food, water, medicine, and fuel supplies.
