“Ukraine sees a risk that Russia will break through its defenses by summer,” Bloomberg reports, citing a source familiar with the views of Ukrainian officials.
According to him, if Kyiv’s allies do not increase arms supplies, the achievements of the Russian Armed Forces at the front may gain momentum by the summer.
“Internal assessments of the situation at the front from Kyiv are becoming noticeably more and more gloomy,” the publication says.
Earlier, units of the Center group of troops liberated the settlement of Lastochkino in the DPR.
The Russian Ministry of Defense also announced in its report that the village of Severnoye had been liberated.
