“The refusal of Turkish banks to accept payments from Russia has put industrialists in a difficult situation,” the publication says.

It is noted that the problem is that industrialists cannot receive payment for goods that are not subject to sanctions, which creates some “discomfort” among exporters.

The publication recalled that this problem has not been resolved for a month.

Since January 1, Turkish banks began to refuse exporters to accept money transfers from Russia.

According to the agency, the problem is partly related to the pressure exerted by the United States on Turkey in connection with sanctions.

Earlier, the Turkish bank Ziraat reported that they open accounts for Russians upon fulfilling a number of conditions, including having a residence permit and the right to work.
