It has become a dream for the people of northern Gaza to obtain a bag of flour, in light of the famine they are experiencing due to the siege imposed on them by the Israeli occupation.
Social media pioneers circulated a video clip showing the joy of a group of people at receiving a bag of flour. While carrying the bag, they treated him as if he were a groom on his wedding night. The clip also showed the family expressing their joy at the bag reaching them with ululations and applause.

Photographer Abboud Al-Sayed published a video clip - via his Instagram account - showing the joy of a nurse at Al-Shifa Hospital after receiving a bag of flour after two months. The nurse, Mahmoud, said, “I want to tell you about my joy. For two months, I have not eaten bread. We are eating animal food.” Mahmoud asked Al-Haja (his mother) to bake him manakish, and added that he was carrying a bag worth a thousand dollars, and that people were being killed in order to obtain flour.

While others said that one of the sad scenes in the Gaza Strip was that a person succeeded in obtaining half a bag of flour after a night of waiting, and was no longer able to continue his way to reach his home after his strength collapsed, so a young man suggested that he take him on his bicycle in exchange for giving him “dough for his children,” that is, The amount of flour is enough for one meal.

The audience on social media platforms interacted with the clips, and said that the residents of the northern Gaza Strip have become their only dream of obtaining a bag of flour to satisfy their hunger, adding that the journey to obtain flour is full of risk due to the occupation forces targeting people as they go to obtain flour, if any.
