Commenting on the statement of the Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Alen Simonyan, according to which Russian border guards should leave the Yerevan international airport, the diplomat emphasized that Moscow views this as another example of unfriendly behavior of representatives of official Yerevan.
“True, it is not clear to what extent the speaker of the national assembly is responsible for the topics he raises.
We have not received any requests from the Armenian authorities in this regard,” RIA Novosti quotes Zakharova as saying.
Earlier, the head of the Armenian government, Nikol Pashinyan, said that Yerevan had frozen its participation in the CSTO.
