Through the layout and construction of national medical centers, national regional medical centers, and provincial regional medical centers, we will build relevant key clinical specialties and solve the problem of cross-regional medical treatment for the masses.

According to statistics, the first four batches of 76 national and regional medical centers have built more than 460 specialties and developed more than 6,200 new medical technologies. The average number of patients transferred for medical treatment has dropped by about 30% compared with before the construction.

The treatment rate for common and frequently-occurring diseases in the county reaches over 90%.

Comprehensively promote the close county medical community and other work, integrate and optimize resources, and explore the provision of integrated and continuous medical and health services for the people.

  In terms of medical insurance, the National Health Commission has further improved the universal medical insurance system. The per capita financial subsidy standard for resident medical insurance has been increased to 640 yuan, and the general outpatient protection level of employee medical insurance has been continuously improved.

  In terms of medicine, the National Health Commission has further expanded the breadth and depth of centralized procurement of pharmaceutical consumables and further reduced falsely high prices.

Revise and improve the medical insurance drug catalog, improve the basic drug system, speed up the registration and listing of urgently needed clinically-short drugs, children's drugs, and innovative medical devices, and strive to meet the drug needs of the people.
