Eight individuals of Egyptian nationality were arrested as part of an investigation for concealed work and partial unemployment fraud with the URSSAF, for an amount of 20 million euros.

According to information from Europe 1, the searches notably led to the discovery of false employment contracts and pay slips.

On Tuesday February 27 in Paris, the police arrested eight individuals in connection with a case of fraud with the URSSAF.

The suspects, from Egyptian siblings, are suspected of abuse of corporate assets by an organized gang, aiding the illegal entry of a foreigner into France and fraud to the detriment of an organization responsible for a security mission. public service.

According to information from Europe 1, the searches carried out by investigators led to the discovery of false employment contracts and pay slips, a Mercedes vehicle, 35 identity documents, 13 computers and 9 mobile phones. .

The seizures also concern 109,048 euros in cash and 980,000 euros recorded in the bank accounts of the fraudulent companies.

A set of offenses estimated at 32 million euros

On November 11, 2021, an investigation opened by the Hauts-de-Seine judicial police services for concealed work and unemployment fraud targeted a construction shell company, managed by the targeted individuals.

According to the police, analysis of the bank accounts of this company reveals the non-declaration of salaries paid to URSSAF, and the payment of more than 55,000 euros in partial unemployment compensation.

The deepening of the investigation also mentions the involvement of a money laundering network led by the family organization.

All the offenses committed by this network between 2017 and 2023 represent an amount of 32 million euros, including 20 million to the URSSAF.

In 2022, the organization estimated all tax adjustments made at more than 788 million euros, and more than 3.5 billion euros between 2018 and 2022.
