The document adopted at the end of the congress emphasizes the “immutable importance” of the peacekeeping mission on the Dniester, which has “huge support not only from Transnistria, but also from neighboring Moldova.”

“The peacekeeping operation must continue until the final and fair settlement of the conflict, despite any political demarches by Moldova and attempts to destroy the basic peace agreement of July 21, 1992,” says the statement, the text of which is quoted by TASS.

Earlier it was reported that Transnistria turned to Russia due to pressure and blockade from the Moldovan authorities.
