United States: in the key state of Michigan, Biden passes an important test among the Democrats
New primary day in the United States, this Tuesday, February 27, in the race for the nomination of candidates for the White House in November.
The Republicans are voting and Donald Trump is the big favorite, but it is especially in the Democratic camp that the day could be rich in lessons.
President Joe Biden faces distrust from part of his electorate, particularly dissatisfied with his policy regarding the war in Gaza.

There is no suspense in the Democratic primary on February 27
in Michigan
: Joe Biden is almost certain to win.
The current American president has no serious opponent.
But that will not prevent him from carefully following the mobilization, because Michigan is a key state, one of those that can swing the November general election.
During the 2020 presidential election, the Democratic candidate only achieved victory by a margin of 150,000 votes.
Joe Biden
is therefore counting on his entire electorate.
The president himself gave a lot, particularly during the auto workers' strike, which he came to support with a megaphone in hand in the fall.
Result: he has the official support of their union.
This support is very important in this state where the automobile industry is very heavy and concerns many families.

President Biden hopes that this will be enough to offset the doubts and even the anger of Muslim Americans, especially those of Palestinian origin, who are particularly numerous in Michigan.
Many are unhappy with his support for Israel in the Gaza war.
A few days ago, on February 14, the White House announced the suspension for eighteen months of expulsions of Palestinians living in the United States.
This measure aims to respond to criticism from his progressive electorate and Americans of Arab origin who criticize him for his strong support for Israel in its war in Gaza.

Such a deception that a campaign called “
Listen to Michigan
” was launched.
Michigan voters are sending President Biden a direct message in the February 27 Democratic primary: count us out, count Michigan uncommitted for Biden's funding war and genocide in Gaza.

Its objective: that voters in the Democratic primary do not vote for Joe Biden but write the word “Uncommitted” on their
ballot
.
The group is aiming for 10,000 votes to send a warning to the White House tenant and encourage him to change his policy by November.
