The Deputy Head of the Russian Foreign Ministry clarified that initially bin Mubarak was supposed to visit Russia as Minister of Foreign Affairs, but he was appointed to the post of Prime Minister.
“Therefore, in his new capacity as the head of the government of Yemen, he is making his first visit to the Russian Federation, which in itself is symbolic,” Bogdanov concluded.
Earlier it became known that the head of the Yemeni government arrived in Moscow on an official visit.
