  • So says Paul McCartney talks to George Harrison through a tree

  • Music Half a century since the 'death' of the Beatles at the hands of Paul McCartney

In 1964, the

Beatles

- who were already at the peak of success - filmed

A Hard Day's Night,

a musical comedy, in which the

Liverpool

Four

participated, actors such as Wilfrid Brambell, Norman Rossington and John Junkin and various extras, among them which included

the model Pattie Boyd

(79), with whom

George Harrison

was absolutely enamored.

According to various interviews, she was on the verge of

saying no to the film,

because she didn't know how to act and the cameras scared her.

However, she ended up agreeing and, in her own words, it was an excellent decision.

"When I met the boys, they all seemed fantastic, but George, with

his brown eyes and walnut hair,

seemed like the

most handsome man I had ever seen,"

she said a few years ago.

Pattie and George sat together at lunch that same day and, she said, being around him was "just,

electrifying

."

Hours later, when Boyd finished filming her scene, Harrison approached her and asked,

"Will you marry me?"

She didn't take it seriously.

But he insisted.

"If you don't want to get married

, would you at least have dinner with me tonight?"

he asked the muse behind the hit

Something

.

In this way, Harrison and Boyd began

an intense relationship

that ended at the altar in 1966. But, less than a decade later, the model decided

to leave the English star for another

music great.

We talked about her then "special friend"

Eric Clapton

(78), who wrote her the song

Layla

and numerous letters.

In fact, that's why Pattie decided to leave George.

This Monday, numerous British media have revealed that Pattie Boyd will auction some of the

letters that Clapton wrote to her

and the content is, truly, surprising.

At first, the young woman believed that the singer

was just another admirer,

because he signed only with his initial.

But in the end, Eric himself revealed her identity and how crazy he was about her.

The oldest letter, written by Clapton, is

dated 1970

and in it the singer-songwriter suggests that she

should break up with Harrison

because he has a strong "feeling" for her.

But since Pattie believed that she was a fan, she didn't take him into account... Until the person in charge of

Tears In Heaven

called to reveal her identity.

But the model did not give in and she remained by Harrison's side.

Clapton continued writing to him and his manuscripts claim that

he felt devastated

because Boyd did not choose him.

He even told her that

he would sacrifice everything of her for her

if he bet on her relationship.

"I would sacrifice my family,

my god and my very existence for you... And yet you do not move. I am at my limit, I have given everything in search of a sign, but

there is only silence,"

he wrote.

"Why do you doubt this?

Am I a poor lover? Am I ugly?

Am I too weak or too strong? If you want, take me, because I am yours. But if you don't want me, please

break the spell that holds me. ata.

Caging wild animals is a sin... And domesticating them is divine.

My love is yours,"

he wrote in a letter that finally took effect.

What's more, Pattie and Eric

married in 1979.

Even so, Pattie Boyd and George Harrison maintained a good relationship until the day of the singer's death.

Now Pattie

will auction some of her memorabilia,

as well as letters from Clapton, whom

she divorced in 1989.

According to the

Daily Mail,

each of the artist's writings could sell for 10,000 or 15,000, while a drawing by Harrison could go on sale for 5,000.
