“Russia’s defeat is necessary for security and stability in Europe,” Macron said.
He also claims that France intends to “do everything” to prevent Russia from winning the conflict.
At the same time, Macron did not specify the specific actions of Paris in this direction.
Last December, Macron admitted that in a number of European countries and the United States there are doubts about the future fate of Ukraine, but France considers it important to prevent Russia from winning.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban previously expressed the opinion that Europe needs a new security system that will be acceptable to both Russia and Ukraine.
