Three young Palestinians were killed by Israeli occupation forces’ bullets during their storming of Tubas Governorate in the West Bank, including Ahmed Daraghmeh, commander of the Tubas Battalion affiliated with the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement.

In Al-Faraa camp, the occupation forces targeted Palestinian citizens with live bullets, which led to the martyrdom of a Palestinian, as Red Crescent teams were prevented from reaching and recovering him. Clashes also occurred during the occupation forces’ storming of the city of Tubas, which led to the martyrdom of another Palestinian.

The people of the city of Tubas mourned the martyr Ahmed Daraghmeh, commander of the Tubas Battalion, who was killed by occupation bullets during confrontations in the Al-Faraa camp near Tubas, at dawn on Tuesday.

Al Jazeera's correspondent had said that the occupation forces stormed the city of Tubas, reinforced with dozens of vehicles and three bulldozers, excavating and destroying infrastructure, roads and homes, amid violent armed clashes and numerous explosions, before withdrawing from it.

The occupation forces raided homes in Tubas under the pretext of searching for wanted persons.

Israeli raids and arrests continued in the cities of the occupied West Bank since the first hours of Tuesday night.

At least 400 Palestinians have been martyred in clashes with Israeli soldiers and settlers since the war launched by Israel on the Gaza Strip since the seventh of last October.

Two days ago, a statement issued by the Prisoners' and Ex-Prisoners' Affairs Authority and the Prisoners' Club stated that the total number of occupation arrests in the West Bank since October 7 had risen to about 7,210 detainees.

The arrest operations are concentrated in the governorates of Bethlehem and Hebron (south), Ramallah, occupied Jerusalem (centre), and Tulkarm and Nablus (north), and were accompanied by widespread acts of abuse, severe beatings, and threats against detainees and their families, in addition to widespread acts of sabotage and destruction of Palestinian homes.
