Wojciechowski said this during a press conference following a meeting of EU agriculture ministers.

He called the situation that is developing on the European grain market difficult.

“Therefore, ideally, we need to help Ukraine with transit and transport through ports, so that products can be sent to markets where Ukraine has traditionally sold grain,” RIA Novosti quotes the European official.

Wojciechowski added that the EC is counting on cooperation from Kyiv in this matter.

He emphasized that the Kyiv authorities must understand the situation in which European farmers find themselves.

Earlier it was reported that Polish carriers are going to resume protests on the border with Ukraine, suspended in January, on March 1.
