According to statistics from the Tourism Administration of Taiwan's transportation department, in the first three quarters of last year, the average room price of tourist hotels in Nantou County was 14,668 yuan (approximately 3,344 yuan) per night, the highest in Taiwan, and 3.17 times the average price in Taiwan.

  In addition, the average nightly price of general hotels in Nantou County is 3,015 yuan, which is 1.13 times the average room price in Taiwan of 2,679 yuan, ranking fifth in Taiwan; the average nightly price of B&Bs in Nantou County is 3,100 yuan, which is 1.22 times the average room price in Taiwan of 2,536 yuan. , ranking 4th among all counties and cities in Taiwan.

  In this regard, the Nantou County Government explained that there are only 4 tourist hotels in the county, all of which are located in the Sun Moon Lake Scenic Area. The business strategy targets high-end domestic and foreign customers, and the housing price data cannot reflect the general accommodation prices in the county.

Other accommodations are also concentrated in scenic spots, and there are many high-end B&Bs, which drive up the average price. In fact, there are still many affordable options. People can compare various options according to their own needs before traveling.

  The Nantou County Government stated that there are seasonal factors in hotel accommodation in the county, and they are concentrated on specific holidays. There is a significant gap in accommodation prices on weekdays.
