On February 25, local time, the Australian Fujian General Chamber of Commerce held an "Enter the Association and Enterprises" and New Year Group Visit in Sydney.

Consuls of the Chinese Consulate General in Sydney Ren Shuangjie and Li Jun, local overseas Chinese community presidents, overseas Chinese leaders, and nearly a hundred members of the Fujian General Chamber of Commerce attended the event.

  The event kicked off with a wonderful lion dance performance.

On behalf of the Fujian General Chamber of Commerce in Australia, Lin Wenden, president of the Fujian General Chamber of Commerce, welcomed the guests. He introduced the original intention of "Into the Association and Enterprises" and hoped that by visiting member companies from different walks of life, different ages, and different industries, everyone will have a better understanding of the company. Knowledge and industrial structure have good mutual understanding, reference and learning.

  Ren Shuangjie, Consul of the Chinese Consulate General in Sydney, said in his speech that the vast number of overseas Chinese are valuable assets for the development of relations between China and Australia.

For more than 200 years, the Chinese have immigrated to Australia. From the early "gold rush" to their unremitting efforts to integrate into Australian society, they have made important contributions to Australia's multicultural society and played a positive role in promoting Australia's economic and social development.

  According to reports, the "Enter Chambers of Commerce" series of activities began during the 2020 epidemic, aiming to strengthen publicity and support for member companies, promote win-win cooperation, improve members' professional qualities, and create a positive chamber of commerce ecosystem.

So far, members have been organized to visit 13 outstanding member companies from various industries, which have been well received by members and all walks of life.

  In addition to issuing new member certificates, the event also arranged performances such as dancing and singing.
