In order to help students establish correct values ​​​​to face various challenges in life, the Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) recently held the "Values ​​Education Summit Forum" at the Hong Kong Palace Museum to provide teachers with professional exchange opportunities and assist them in promoting values ​​education.

  This summit forum is hosted by the Education University and co-organized by the Education Bureau of the Hong Kong SAR Government.

The summit forum consists of two keynote speeches, guest dialogue sessions and three group lectures. The Secretary for Education, Ms Choi Lo-Lin, and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the EdUHK and Chairman of the Education Commission, Mr Wong Yau-ka, are invited to serve as officiating guests.

  In his speech, Huang Youjia said that as a member of the academic and educational circles, the Education University has the responsibility to conduct in-depth discussions and promote the development of values ​​education.

Chinese culture values ​​both ability and political integrity, and correct values ​​education is also an important part of students' all-round development. The Education Conference continues to cultivate quasi-teachers and social professionals who combine knowledge and action through courses and different activities.

  Li Zijian, President of the Education University and Chair Professor of Curriculum and Teaching, said that in the future, he will continue to cooperate more with the Education Bureau and others to help promote values ​​education.

  In addition, Secretary for Security Tang Ping-keung and Director of the Jao Tsung-I Academic Center of the University of Hong Kong and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Li Cheuk-fan attended the event and respectively discussed "Rule of Law and National Security Education - Safeguarding National Security: Legislation of Article 23 of the Basic Law" and "China "Cultural Education and Values ​​- Values ​​and Cultural Inheritance" delivered a keynote speech.
