Huang Maoxing is a representative of the 13th and 14th National People's Congress and vice president of Fujian Academy of Social Sciences.

The research team led by Huang Maoxing has cooperated with the Fujian Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce to publish development reports such as the top 100 private enterprises in Fujian Province for five consecutive years, "taking the pulse" of the high-quality development of the private economy in Fujian Province.
