As Peskov noted, the authors of the sanctions cannot come up with anything new, but only harm the economies of their own countries.

“This harm, you know, the boomerang effect is working, the European, first of all, economy is seriously suffering due to the sanctions that were imposed on us,” he said.

Peskov added that the interests of American companies also suffer because of the sanctions.

Earlier, The Washington Post wrote that the new American sanctions imposed on Moscow are unlikely to deal a serious blow to Russia, given the country’s “vitality.”
