A statement published on the website of the Foreign Ministry indicates that the missions of the CIS, SCO, CIS and CSTO parliamentary assemblies, as well as independent observers from various states, recognized the past elections as complying with national legislation and international standards.
“We agree with the high assessments of the organization of voting given by international observers,” the diplomatic department noted.
Earlier, observers from the SCO called the parliamentary and local elections held in Belarus transparent and democratic.
