The Times writes about this.

Sunak said the West should be bolder in confiscating hundreds of billions in Russia's frozen assets.

“It starts with us taking the billions in interest that these assets generate and sending them to Ukraine,” he said.

After that, he said, the West, together with the G7, must find legal ways to seize assets and transfer these funds to Ukraine.

Earlier it became known that the G7 countries intend to force Russia to compensate Ukraine for losses from frozen assets and instruct governments to develop measures to implement this step, follows from a joint statement by the leaders of the G7 countries following the summit.

The Russian leader's press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, noted that the seizure of Russian assets by other countries is illegal and fraught with serious harmful consequences.
