Since the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development strategy was implemented ten years ago, Hebei has taken over a large number of industries from Beijing and Tianjin.

At the same time, the scale of these industries has also gradually upgraded.

In the start-up area of Xiongan New Area, more than 200 hoisting machinery stands and roars. The first batch of central enterprises such as China Huaneng and Sinochem are accelerating construction.

In addition, foundation excavation and piling are being carried out at the Xiongan campus of the universities affiliated to the ministries and commissions in Beijing and the Xiongan campus of Peking University People's Hospital, which are among the first batch of evacuations.

Not long ago, 56 new projects were launched in Xiongan New Area, covering many aspects such as relief facilities, innovation platforms, and urban functions.

While the Xiongan New Area is being planned and constructed on a large scale and undertaken actively, steadily and orderly, Beijing's non-capital function decentralization projects are also being laid out in gradients in the surrounding Beijing area and other cities and counties in Hebei Province.

Over the past ten years, Hebei Province has undertaken a total of more than 43,000 basic units transferred from Beijing and Tianjin.

The coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei puts transportation first.

Over the past ten years, the transportation network between Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei has become increasingly dense, and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei rail network is accelerating, which greatly facilitates people's commuting and exchanges.

At the construction site of the Xiongan New Area to Beijing Daxing International Airport Express Line, workers are constructing ballastless tracks.

After the project is completed and opened to traffic, starting from Xiongan New Area, it will take 30 minutes to reach Beijing Daxing International Airport and 1 hour to Lize Financial Business District.

Liu Feng, head of the Xiongan Group Rail Express Company: Currently, construction of the Beijing section's shield section, elevated station steel structure, and ballastless track base plate is underway, and the project construction is being fully promoted.

At the construction site of Beijing Rail Transit Line 22 in Sanhe, Langfang, Hebei, a large shield machine is digging.

As the first inter-provincial urban rail transit line in Beijing and Hebei, Beijing Rail Transit Line 22 will connect key functional areas such as Beijing’s central business district, city sub-center, Sanhe Yanjiao, and Pinggu New Town.
