The Israeli occupation army has escalated its operations in the West Bank since the start of the war in Gaza (Anatolia)

The Israeli occupation forces stormed several areas in the West Bank, and confrontations broke out between Palestinian resistance fighters and the occupation forces, resulting in a number of casualties.

Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the village of Al-Tuwani in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, and the city of Yatta from its southern axis.

Confrontations

In Hebron, the Israeli occupation forces fired flares over the entrance to Al-Fawwar camp, as they stormed the area, according to scenes broadcast by local Palestinian platforms, and Palestinian youths attacked a military tower at the entrance to Al-Fawwar camp with Molotov cocktails.

In Tulkarm, confrontations broke out between young men and the occupation forces after storming the town of Kafr al-Labad, east of the city. The occupation forces also stormed the village of al-Nazla al-Sharqiya and the Shweika suburb of the western axis of Tulkarm, and stationed themselves in the al-Aqsa neighborhood at the entrance to the suburb.

It also stormed Al-Salam neighborhood and the Dhanaba suburb east of Tulkarm, and stationed itself in the Al-Rashid neighborhood in the suburb, and in the area near Jabal Al-Nasr in Nour Shams camp, and conducted a wide search operation in the area.

Yesterday, Friday, the Israeli occupation forces continued to impose restrictions on worshipers’ entry into Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem for the twentieth Friday in a row since the start of the war on Gaza.

The occupation forces prevented young people in particular and other groups of Jerusalemites from entering the Old City and Al-Aqsa Mosque to perform Friday prayers without giving reasons and in a random manner, while they attacked worshipers outside the walls of the Old City and prevented them from performing prayers at the Lions’ Gate and near the Mercy Cemetery.

Since the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, settlers have escalated their attacks in the West Bank, and the occupation army has escalated its operations, leaving 399 martyrs and about 4,500 wounded, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
